The Ashby Canal
General
- General N97#3p10
- Navigational Note: The canal is shallow throughout and progress is likely to be slow. Random mooring may be awkward due to shallow sides so use the wharfs and recognised moorings.
- Towpath N97#3p10
- The condition of the towpath is somewhat variable. As far as Bridge 15 it is rutted and boggy in parts with erosion in bridge holes. Thereafter it improves as far as Snarestone.
