Preston Brook Tunnel N97#5p22 N2k#5p22: Add Navigational Notes: Entry times are 30-40 minutes past each hour for southbound traffic and 0-10 minutes past each hour for northbound traffic. There are good moorings at both ends of the tunnel.
Bridge 1 N97#5p23 N2k#5p23: There is a Spar supermarket 50yds west of the bridge. (There have been problems with children throwing stones by this bridge.)
Midland Chandlers are now adjacent to Claymoore Navigation at the Wharf.

Thelwall Viaduct N97#5p25: There is a winding hole ½ mile west of the M6 bridge, at the bend mid-way to Thelwall Underbridge.
Bridge 26 N97#5p27: There is a water point near Ye Old No. 3 pub, 600yds east of the bridge.
Bridge 35 N97#5p29 N2k#5p29 N03#5p29: Useful shops (Tesco, M&S) can be found approx 200m NW from the church, just to the south of the bridge, close to the text "Ashton Upon Mersey" in the guide.
Bridge 38 N97#5p29 N2k#5p29 N03#5p29: Egerton Narrowboats (Tel: 0161 864 1066, http://www.egertonnarrowboats.co.uk) doesn't do pump outs. (See their website!)

Castlefield Junction N97#5p31: This complex junction (shown on the inset map) is misspelt "Castleford".
Castlefield Junction N97#5p31 N2k#5p31: There is a water point on the west side of the Staffordshire Arm of Castlefield Junction.

Bridge 44 N97#5p34: The pipe bridge shown north west of Bridge 44 does not exist.
Bridge 54 N97#5p34: There's a missing Boatyard symbol for Brinks Boats, by the basin by the bridge.
