Hawkesbury Junction N97#3p40 N2k#3p40
The Boat Inn is a locals' pub and does not serve real cider.  The 2000 edition adds Greene King but drops "guest real ales" in the list of beers available.
Bedworth N97#3p43 N2k#3p43
In the 1997 edition, there is a missing "B" symbol for Gilbert Bros, Charity Dock, on the bend ¼ mile South of Marston Junction.  The 2000 edition lists this yard as the home of the Warwickshire Canal Carrying Company.  It now supplies diesel.

Marston Junction

Ashby Canal

Bridge 18 N97#3p43 N2k#3p43
There is a winding hole north of the bridge, near the "m" in "Site of Griff Arm". It is shown too far north in the 2000 edition.

The Valley Cruises boatyard is no longer between Bridges 39 and 40 and are now located just north of Bridge 27, providing all the same services.  Tel: 02476 393333.
Bridge 43 N97#3p47 N2k#3p47
The Kings Head (Old Watling Street, Atherstone, CV9 2PA)  is by the A5 bridge, where the symbol appears and not in Grendon as the text indicates.
Baddesley Basin N97#3p47 N2k#3p47
Diesel is available at the basin, north of Bridge 44.
Bridge 48 N97#3p46 N2k#3p46
The final sentence of the main text refers to supplies at Bridge 48.  These do not exist.

There is a Sanitary Station just south of Bridge 48.

The Black Swan (Watling Street, Grendon, Atherstone, CV9 2PY) has no mooring as it is located a mile south west of Bradley Green Bridge on the A6 main road.  The symbol on p47 is in the wrong location.   (See map).

Bridge 54 N97#3p46 N2k#3p46
There are excellent moorings, for ten or more boats, north of the bridge at Polesworth.
Bridge 74 N97#3p48 N2k#3p48
The main text concludes with a reference to useful stores west of Bridge 74. There are none close to bridge 74.

There are stores 200m south of the bridge.

Fazeley Junction

There is a winding hole between this bridge and Tamhorn Farm Bridge.
Whittington Bridge N97#3p50 N2k#3p50
In the description of Whittington, the village centre is said to be west of Whittington Bridge.  It is much more convenient for the shops to walk west from Bridge 78.
Bridge 80 N97#3p51 N2k#3p51
The First Mate Guides recommend mooring here for Whittington Post Office (7 minutes walk) and here or Whittington Bridge for the shops (15 minutes walk). A fast walker can cut these times by almost half.
Streethay Wharf P97EM#23
The Map link to #22 should read #24.
Bridge 88 N97#3p51
The water point shown 200yds north of the bridge does not exist. The symbol, however, does obliterate the site of a water pumping station.
Bridge 90A N97#3p51 N2k#3p51
This new bridge is to be found where the line of Common Lane crosses the canal. There is new "executive" housing on the towpath side from here to Bridge 90.
